Itinerary

07:00 AM – Pick-up time. Drive to Mabinay. Depart early from resort or hotel. Around an hour and a half or 2-hour car ride to Bulwang Crystal Caves in Mabinay.

08:30 AM – Register at the tourism office, secure a mandatory local guide, and gear up with helmets and flashlights. Explore to beginner-friendly cave Bulwang Crystal Cave which feature incredible stalactite and stalagmite formations.

10:00 AM – Transit and lunch. Pack up and drive back down south towards Valencia. Stop along the way or in Valencia town proper to have a quick, heavy lunch to fuel up for the upcoming trek.

12:30 PM – Drive to Casaroro. Travel up the winding mountain roads of Valencia to the Casaroro Falls jump-off point.

01:00 PM –The Casaroro challenge. Attend the briefing and begin the steep descent down 335 concrete steps into the river gorge together with your tourist guide. From the bottom, navigate the rocky riverside trail for about 20–30 minutes until you reach the majestic, towering 70-meter single-column cascade. Enjoy the cool mountain breeze and take photos before embarking on the grueling uphill hike back to the parking lot.

03:30 PM –Return to hotel or resort. Drive back down to Dumaguete City to rest your legs and conclude the tour.
